Armed Escort

Being accompanied by a four-man armed escort as he MedTreks towards Fuka on the Mediterranean coast in northern Egypt.

Egypt’s Tourism Police insisted on accompanying The Idiot on today’s MedTrek between Al Alamein and Marsa Metruh, Egypt. The protective unit consisted of four men, two who occasionally walked with The Idiot and his MedTrekking partner Michael Knipe, and a pickup with the other two police officers which kept up with the MedTrekkers on a nearby highway. There have not been any incidents during The Idiot’s MedTrek across northern Egypt.
