Idiot-ic Winners

The Idiot personally awarded prizes to Gainesville (Florida) High School seniors who correctly answered Homeric questions concerning “The Idiot and the Odyssey” books. The awards ceremony occurred during The Idiot’s two-day presentation to Jim Owens’ highly regarded humanities classes.

Tyler Rice who picked up a “Follow the Idiot” cap for stating why the MedTrek takes 20 years.

Sofia Jade Eury won an “The Idiot and the Odyssey II” T-shirt for guessing why Circe gave The Idiot precisely Twelve Tasks to perform. Sofia, who knew that Hercules had accomplished Twelve Labors, was visiting colleges on the day of the awards. But she’ll look a bit like The Idiot in her T.

Nickole Alexis Malo won a “Walk It Off” tank top for knowing why each of “The Idiot and the Odyssey” books cover 4,401 kilometers.

And Alec Kissoondyal received a copy of The Idiot II simply for being the most prolific reader in the senior class.

Meanwhile the Idiot set a trendy fashion and social pace in Gainesville by appearing in a dishdasha and posing with former University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow.
