Lighthouse

Taking the last of his daily afternoon strolls around the Scituate Lighthouse south of Boston, Massachusetts, before flying to Cairo, Egypt, tomorrow.

The historic octagonal Scituate (MA) Lighthouse was first lit in 1811, when it became the 11th lighthouse in the United States. The current lighthouse keep is a history teacher at nearby Marshfield High School.
