The Idiot spoke about “Successful, Serious & Sexy Shameless Self-Promotion” — aka SSSSSP or “Five S’s and a P” — at a “Freelance Cafe” event in Nice, France, this week.

Surrounded by successful artists used to promoting themselves, he described how there’s been absolutely “no shame about shameless self-promotion” since Andy Warhol declared that “everyone would have fifteen minutes of fame.”

He told his audience that “there are 24 key elements to SSSSSP” but restricted his hour-long talk to the importance of “Passion, Practice, Perseverance, Phaked Patience, Perspective & Perverse Psychology.”
