Where In The World Is The Idiot Training For His Upcoming MedTrek in Lebanon and Israel?

The Idiot is spending two weeks on the Pacific Ocean to train for his upcoming MedTrek down the coasts of Lebanon and Israel in September. Although the dramatic northern California oceanside contrasts with the southeastern Mediterranean seaside, the refreshingly cool weather and rocky/sandy beaches are an ideal hiking locale.

Naturally there are a number of historical distactions, including a lighthouse in Trinidad where The Idiot’s family members are among those listed as having been buried at sea.

The Idiot's maternal grandparents, stepfather, younger brother and an aunt are among those on the list at the Trinidad Lighthouse. They were all "buried at sea."

And it’s hard to beat the Pacific Ocean sunsets.

Next Week: The Idiot’s training takes him deep into the redwoods.
