Delighted that 110°F days have ended in Redding, CA, and that it’s possible to take a midday walk without sweating, becoming dehydrated or passing out.
The Idiot can now pleasantly walk a mile from his California basecamp to the Redding YMCA in the middle of a 75°F day for his daily workout. Or choose to walk much further as he prepares to return to the MedTrek in Tunisia on Sunday.
