Wearing a faux Los Angeles Dodgers shirt in San Francisco Giants country as the rivals play each other to kick off baseball season.
The Idiot is taunted and scorned for wearing a faux Los Angeles Dodgers shirt in Redding, CA, which is San Francisco Giants country, as the two rivals face each other in their final game during the first weekend of this year’s baseball season.
The Idiot, a Giants fan since the age of six, wore the shirt to encourage tolerance in an increasingly divisive United States.

The next 4,401 kilometers are covered in the gods-filled sequel, "The Idiot and the Odyssey II: Myth, Madness and Magic on the Mediterranean,” published on Valentine's Day 2013.
