“I put a broom stick into the mole hole to create a vertical passage, drop in a piece of Juicy Fruit, the mole eats it and dies because it can’t digest the gum,” says the owner of a large estate in Stanford, South Africa. “Because it doesn’t poison the mole, its remains can be safely eaten by other animals.”
