Avidly playing Scrabble, eating Brie and discussing the MedTrek coronation in Carthage with a childhood friend who’s Airstreaming through Redding, CA.
The most memorable Scrabble game that The Idiot ever played with his 1960s neighbor Christian Fryer, who claimed that three consecutive losses during his current visit were due to a minor stroke, was in Paris in 1977 when they were playing on a bridge and one of the two blanks fell into the Seine.
