Casino Dining

Gambling on the food at the Cher-Ae Heights Casino above the Pacific Ocean in Trinidad, CA, for dinner with Humboldt County pals.

One advantage of dining with Annette and Greg Holland at the Sunset Restaurant at the Cher-Ae Heights Casino, which is above the Pacific Ocean in Trinidad (CA) and serves decent grub, is that the service is quick because they want customers to return to the tables, which we totally ignored. The Idiot has known Annette, née Boushey, since they met at Stanford University in 1966.

 

When The Idiot enjoys the view of the Pacific Ocean from his Trinidad basecamp rather than go out to a restaurant like the Larrupin Cafe, one of his favorite dinner dishes (this was last night) is steak haché, œuf à cheval et écrasé de pommes de terre.
