Watching Paris, the City of Light, become the City of Music on the first day of summer.
The annual Fête de la Musique in Paris on June 21 brought music to every bridge, street corner and monument in the French capital. The Idiot, recalling that he lived here in the early 1980s when the Fête de la Musique began, wandered about long after sunset, at nearly 10 pm, to soak it all in while munching on frites and crêpes during the year’s longest day.
