The Idiot observes his 49th Earth Day by checking the performance and fuel economy of his 2017 Prius, which has averaged 51.9 miles-per-gallon since he bought it on his 47th Earth Day in 2017. The Idiot, who has a MEDTREK license plate on his car to promote his The Idiot and the Odyssey trilogy of travel narrative books, thinks he’s saving a buck and saving the earth.
