Deciding that it is more beneficial to pick up garbage on Earth Day than March for Science and walk to a festival.
The Idiot (left), who recalls the first Earth Day in 1970, spearheaded a major river/forest clean up in his hometown of Valbonne, France, on the 20th anniversary of Earth Day in 1990.
A month later he was arrested for disturbing the peace after constructing a Garbage Sculpture that blocked a road through his village on the French Riviera.
The Idiot joined the March for Science and walked to the Whole Earth & Watershed Festival in Redding, CA, on Earth Day in 2017.
He was particularly disturbed that so many participants drove SUVs and gigantic pickups to reach the events. He plans to propose a mandatory “Walk Don’t Drive On Earth Day” law.
