The Idiot just completed the latest stage of training for next month’s MedTrek around Cyprus, the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, amidst the Mayan ruins in the Tikal National Park in northern Guatemala.
Accompanied by Liz Chapin, he made speedy climbs up steep temple steps, attempted to slog through challenging brush on jungle paths in the rainforest, was mesmerized by the sunrise bellows of territorial howler monkeys, and explored royal Mayan palaces and commoner residences, including a maze of tunnels and underground storage spaces.

….likes the look of a royal bedroom with a king bed especially….
….after a fatiguing attempt to take a shortcut through the nearly impenetrable jungle.
