Chic T-shirts are the mode in Paris during the dog days of August, when most of the local population has fled town for the month. Naturally The Idiot came armed with a few of the Ts given to him for 70th birthday two weeks ago. Here’s what he showed off all over Paris.
The Idiot left his apartment on Quai des Celestins to show off his assortment of summer T-shirts on the trendy Left Bank.
The Idiot said “Oui” behind Notre Dame Cathedral.
The Idiot confessed his true age to a vivacious dancer at Paradis Latin.
“I’m not old…I’m a classic 1948,” The Idiot told Victor Hugo and others hanging inside and outside the Pantheon.
The Idiot wore this somewhat political T in front of the Odeon Theatre because he was tired of being asked about the political situation in the US.

This shot of The Idiot pretending to be a Teenage Millionaire (two lies on one T-shirt) on the Mediterranean Sea was considered, and rejected, as a T to wear in Paris because the French don’t like talking about money in August.
Naturally The Idiot didn’t want anything to do with chic and expensive French T-shirts. In fact, he’s NEVER bought a French T like these on sale in the Latin Quarter. But…
These French Ts are too chic for The Idiot.
The Idiot, for the first time in his life (he’s 70), weakened and bought a French T for Baby Gaga, his 10.75-month old granddaughter who’s vacationing in the south of France.
