Joining the masters swimming team at the renovated and expanded Stade Nautique Jean Bunoz in Antibes, France.
The Idiot was a member of the masters swim team in Antibes between 1984-2004 and two members joined him when he swam across the Hellespont during his 20-year walk around the Mediterranean Sea. That adventure is recounted in The Idiot and the Odyssey II: Myth, Madness and Magic on the Mediterranean.
One new 50-meter pool at the Antibes swimming complex has been completed (this is where The Idiot is working out this week) and a second (see the crane?) is scheduled to be swim-ready in December.
