Watching former London Times correspondent Michael Knipe, 76, become the oldest MedTrekker to hike over 20 kilometers.

Michael Knipe, 76, takes off with gusto at 5:30 am on his 23-kilometer MedTrek with The Idiot in Dipkarpaz, Cyprus. London-based Knipe, who edited “The Idiot and the Odyssey II: Myth, Madness and Magic on the Mediterranean,” declared that MedTrekking “is a little more difficult than Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath.”
