The Idiot studied modernist works by Austrian artists Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele when he attended a Stanford University program in Vienna in 1968. The exciting and diverse array of drawings at the Royal Academy of Arts in London are from the Albertina Museum, one of the Idiot’s frequent haunts in Vienna.

Joel Stratte-McClure has been a global trekker since the 1970s.
