Checking progress on the conservation treatment underway on The Blue Boy, the iconic 1770 painting by Thomas Gainsborough at The Huntington in San Marino, CA.
The Blue Boy, which is in the midst of a year-long technical examination and conservation treatment, will return to the public gallery at The Huntington in mid-June where visitors can witness the inpainting process due to be completed later this year.
