Pleased that The Idiot and the Odyssey book-promoting appearance at a California library was mentioned in The Twain Monthly.
The president of the Shasta Library Foundation, who organized an event dedicated to The Idiot and the Odyssey trilogy of travel narratives at the Redding (CA) Library earlier this month, said “this was the best-attended author event that we’ve ever hosted.”
Jean King didn’t mention if this was due to The Idiot, his books, the Mediterranean-oriented slide show or the free wine and cookies.
