Celebrating the holiday season with Victorian women at the Behrens-Eaton House Museum in Redding, California.
The Idiot, a lifetime member of the Behrens-Eaton House Museum, is credited with publicizing in 2015 that its collection contains priceless stones, tiles, relics and artifacts brought back from Pompeii after World War II by Judge Richard Eaton. According to museum officials, Pompeii does not want these treasures returned to the cobbled streets of the popular UNESCO World Heritage Site in Italy and they will remain in this little-visited museum in Redding, California. You can read about The Idiot’s visit to Pompeii in “The Idiot and the Odyssey II: Myth, Magic and Madness on the Mediterranean.” (Photo: Tahnee Walker)
