What Did The Idiot See When He Emerged From The “Bomb Cyclone” Blizzard And Storm On The East Coast?

The Idiot blithely endured the Arctic temperatures, icy conditions, coastal floods, power outages, burst pipes and frozen snow during the recent “bomb cyclone” storm on the east coast.

How?

He limited external exposure to fifteen minutes and stayed inside as much as possible playing online Scrabble, catching up on issues of The New Yorker, working on the body text of The Idiot and the Odyssey III, watching the Golden Globes and wondering why he left California.

Here’s what he saw when he emerged from his east coast base camp in Scituate, MA, where most US television networks sent their on-air correspondents to cover the storm.

What’s ahead?

The Idiot, always wearing proper clothing when he ventured outside, saw his shadow on Idiothog Day (January 7) and the cold temperatures destroyed his tan.

Due to the tangible threat of frostbite, The Idiot limits his east coast walks in sunny 8 °F (-13 0 °C) temperatures to fifteen minutes.
