The Idiot frequently visits a Peace Labyrinth while walking a six-mile segment of the Sacramento River Trail in Redding, CA. Like other visitors, he frequently leaves a painted stone to both lengthen the ever-expanding circular path and convey a mindful message.

One of the first rocks The Idiot sees in the labyrinth offers some serious guidance about the path ahead: Lead Me Not Into Temptation.
The second rock has a cosmic message: Don’t Tell Me The Sky Is The Limit When The Stars Are Up Above.
A third rock reminds The Idiot not to get carried away by what he’s reading because Nothing Is Written In Stone.
A colorful rock that The Idiot left two years ago has had part of the “L” knocked out of LOVE.
Most messages are simple and to the point.
One of the shorter messages on the Peace Labyrinth path: PRAY.
But almost every stone speaks words of encouragement or instruction: LIVE LOVE.
Longer messages convey equally simple truths.
