The Idiot, who completed his 20-year walk around the Mediterranean Sea in 2018, just kicked off his next project on the 747-mile long Baja Peninsula in Mexico. His goal this time is to walk around the Pacific Ocean, which has a surface area of 63,800,000 square miles, within the next 200 years.
Here’s what he saw on his first few days in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur.
Lots of sun in the afternoon.
Lots of Pacific Ocean sunsets.
Lots of beaches.
A few horses on the beach.
A few colorful villages like Todos Santo.
A few sleepy resorts.
Lots of tacos and fresh fish.
Lots of whales.
Lots of pelicans.
Lots of cholla cacti.
Lots of colorful markets.
A few quiet churches.
