Endless Summer #2

Forget heavy autumn comfort food. Everyone in Redding, California, is still eating simple salads due to a seemingly endless summer and unseasonably warm temperatures.

It may be snowing in other parts of the United States but The Idiot is still making salads for breakfast and eating them on his deck, which looks onto barren Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen, due to the ongoing warm climate and seemingly endless summer in this part of Northern California.

Joel Stratte-McClure has been a global trekker since the 1970s.
