Farewell Lunch

Having a farewell lunch with a first grade (1954-55) pal who is moving out of Redding, California, after living here for 67 years.

The Idiot and Leslie Williams Schwerdt, who have been friends since first grade (1954-55), have lunch in Redding, CA, before Leslie, who lost her home in the Carr Fire a year ago, leaves town. “The last three years have forced me to embrace change and that is good,” said Leslie, who will be living on the Trinity River in the countryside.
