Name Calling

Seeking legal advice about whether he can sue People, Riviera Radio and other media outlets for misspelling his name. Seriously, Yowl Streptthroat-McClough?

The Idiot just discovered a book that contains an advertisement from the early 1990s for a Monaco-based radio station that misspelled his name. He’s hoping to sue.

People correctly spelled The Idiot’s name on its masthead for over a decade. But they sure butchered it when they sent him copies of the magazine in Paris in the early 1980s. Seriously, Jewel Stratopshere-McCloud? He’s suing, perhaps belatedly, for character defamation.
