Wondering how many intelligent Californians visiting Maryland know “No Standing” means “No Parking” — and $200 in fines and towing fees?
The Idiot has offered to replace all “No Standing” signs in Bethesda, Maryland, with “No Parking” signs to prevent unaware out-of-state visitors from being scammed with towing charges and parking fees. Cars are towed to a nearby public parking lot to enable unsuspecting visitors to take a quick walk to pay for and pick up their wehicles. Between us, when I saw “No Standing” I sat down. Stupid or scammed?
