The Idiot, who lived in Los Angeles from 2004-2009 when he wrote the Tinseltown Spywitness column about Hollywood for the Los Angeles Daily News, always stumbles upon intriguing people, places and things when he’s in town.

Here are some of the random phenomena he ran into in Los Angeles during the last week.

A signed print of the iconic photograph of Faye Dunaway taken by her husband-to-be Terry O’Neill after she snagged a Best Actress Oscar for Network in 1977. Like it? It’s for sale at the Mouche Gallery in Beverly Hills.
