Why Has The Idiot Had Another Reason To Commemorate Valentine’s Day Since 2013?

The Idiot has had a special feeling about Valentine’s Day since 2013 when the romantic event was commemorated with the publication of The Idiot and the Odyssey II: Myth, Magic and Madness on the Mediterranean, the simultaneous release of the book’s award-winning promotional trailer and the kickoff of an uproarious collection of reactions from critical and less critical readers.

Although he has since completed his 20-year-walk around the Mediterranean Sea and published the third volume in The Idiot and the Odyssey trilogy of travel narratives, The Idiot reread the entire series during the pandemic and was impressed by the confluence of technology and travel in  The Idiot and the Odyssey II: Myth, Magic and Madness on the Mediterranean.

Here are just a few of the places that he walked in Italy, Malta, Greece and Turkey that you can now visit by reading The Idiot and the Odyssey II  and not taking a single step.
